Zum Schlossgarten Restaurant in Ralswiek

We (family of 4 with 2 small children) stayed here over the weekend - we had booked a double room and asked in advance to stay the night near the restaurant because our grandma celebrated her 85th birthday there. We received a very warm welcome, nothing was missing. The room in the "zum Sonnenschein" was on two floors and was right next to the restaurant. We even had a small kitchen in there. It was clean and nice and warm even in the current season. We were so touchingly taken care of while we were eating. The food was terrific. Especially the buffet on the evening of the birthday party. Wonderful German cuisine. About the location: The hotel / pension is located directly at the port of Ralswiek, where the Störtebker Festival takes place. It's a cute little port that invites you to take a stroll. Smoked fish and a small souvenir shop are also available. So even without the Störtebeker (which unfortunately won't take place this year), it's worth the trip. Thank you for the nice weekend. We would love to come back

How you can give 4 or 5 stars for this pension is incomprehensible to me. Our double room, beds, bathroom / toilet was fine. Cleaning and change of towels only took place upon request. Breakfast is unacceptable. Buns that don't deserve the name. The same, tasteless cheese and, if necessary, fat sausages every day. All just the cheapest discount goods. The beautiful terrace is only available to smokers. Service only friendly at first glance. The opening times of the restaurant from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. are not very hospitable. All in all, not recommended for a stay of more than 3 days.

We have been going to Ralswieck for years and always stay at the Zum Schlossgarten guesthouse. Every year we are given a warm welcome. The staff is always very friendly and attentive. The rooms are well and practically furnished. The whole area is very well maintained. The breakfast is tasty, good and more than sufficient. Every year we book a few days short break in the pension and have never been disappointed. A friendly word or a conversation with the staff is always given. Especially in these difficult times, we wish the team all the best and perseverance. Due to the Corona, it is certainly not easy for the whole team to get through this time because there have been significant changes in the previous processes. The breakfast could be selected the day before and was richly and lovingly served at the table. Should a request for breakfast arise, the staff could be addressed at any time and the request was fulfilled. It was very tasty. Serving at the table made the atmosphere even more pleasant and relaxed than usual, as there was no bustle at the buffet. The organization with the breakfast times was very good so that the breakfast room was never too full. The breakfast times were very pleasant and sufficient. After each pass, the room was ventilated and cleaned. You have to cope with this additional effort first. Hats off for that. The portions that you could eat for dinner were also tasty and sufficient. There was something for everyone and every budget. The central parking spaces on the site were sufficient and easily accessible. The system that we carry out at events such as Störtebecker or Santiano guarantees every house guest a parking space without having to search long. We are already looking forward to next year in this very nice guesthouse and wish the whole team always full rooms, satisfied guests and above all health. Whackers who are looking for the fly in the ointment are always and everywhere. We were there 3 weeks ago and were very satisfied, service was very good, competent employees, good, otherwise we had breakfast with a buffet (but due to Corona there wasn't that) not bad, we could order everything we would like for breakfast the day before it was plentiful and tasty. In the evening we also ate dinner in the restaurant, we were served very well and very tasty. The rooms are also clean and lovingly made up, we were also able to take our dog with us, we can recommend it with a very clear conscience. Despite the Corona regulations that we should all adhere to, very good service and friendly to all guests. Our personal impression is great. We'll be back

The pension is in a quiet area, but I expected more for the price. Canned fruit for breakfast is not my cup of tea now. When we wanted to eat something in the restaurant in the evening, we were a little overwhelmed. All seats were taken, and we as guests could not come up with a solution.

Pension in a quiet location. Good breakfast. When something is used up, it is always refilled immediately. Dinner good and plentiful. Home cooking. Most of the staff is very friendly. This pension is very well suited as a starting point to discover the island of Rügen with your own car. Parking lots available.

There was a restaurant which was good but unfortunately quite small and offered expensive food. We were there during the Störtebeker Festival and our terrace and the entire property was covered so that the guests of the house had to park the furthest away. I also asked two other guests for their opinion and asked them to summarize them in about two sentences. 1st person W / Simple but central to the festival meadow, lots of space. The service staff was friendly and attentive. The accommodation was clean and spacious. Quiet location, well maintained facility. The breakfast buffet was rich and it was also served at the table when something was missing. We will definitely come back again. Thank you for the pleasant stay experience.
